Roy, we clearly recognize you as the passenger by your clothing, you were wearing that same suit at last Sunday's church service.
And furthermore, your son was driving the Olds because you were arrested for driving without a license.
How do you know what I was wearing at church last Sunday? Security would have stopped you at the door!
No, seriously, everyone is welcome at Rodgers Baptist Church, 801 W. Buckingham, Garland, Texas. Sunday School 9:15 AM, Morning worship 10:30AM, Sunday night 6:00 PM
Wednesday night Bible Study 7:00PM

Not bad, but 32k for a brand new one with a full 5 year warranty and free oil changes for 3 years ain't too bad either. Throw in the free car washes any time I want for the life of the vehicle and it really becomes cost competative. that is, of course, before the cost of the special gas I have to use

Roy, I do appreciate the invite.
I will be back this Sunday accompanied by the city fire marshal, as well as code and health inspectors. Best have your papers in order.

Gas mileage is a factor, also!

I use 87 octane (the cheapest) and get 24 mpg in town and 27 mpg on the highway. I imagine that Saab will pass everything except a gas station? sounds like you did get a terrific deal on it. I paid about $31,000 for the brand new Lincoln Town car, loaded. It was the easiest riding and best driving car I have ever driven and I have driven Cadillacs, Buicks, Chryslers, Olds, Pontiacs, Impalas, etc. At 75 years old I figure this Subaru will probably be the last car I buy. I usually drive one about 10 years.
BTW haven't they quit manufacturing Saabs?

All the best,

Roy

Yes, they are now part of the growing list of never to be seen again products.

Yes, I do have to fuel up a little more than most. 14 mpg steady, driving normal or "Jeff Speed", and it only runs on top fuel, meaning Chevron, Shell, Phillips 66, or QT, 92 octane. But it's not always about the cost, sometimes it's about the experience. In this case the experience is sometimes broke!
